IIT-Bombay Workshop

This is the report of the workshop on Python for Scientific Computing, conducted at IIT-Bombay on 13th, 14th of May, 2010. The following is the feedback obtained from the participants.

Depth of coverage
28 out of 34 felt that the depth of coverage was detailed

General Comments

* Workshop is very interesting but for very shot time.
* This is one of good workshop which I attended before, very good experience.
* It is very nice workshop. I got many new things from that workshops, knowledge about Python.
* Nice experience to learn Python.
* Time span is not enough to understand any language.
* Instructors were very helpful and quick to help us.
* Think I learn somewhat Python as sometime there is hurry in teaching and teachers wont wait for the students and some
teachers are not responding goodly. They have to respond because we are totally new in Python world.
* The workshop is very interesting experience but there is not enough time.
* I think its good idea to conduct short tern workshops. For this is useful because I need just the basic of language
and rest I can do. From this workshop I got basic thing but not all expected, but still its good one. A way of teaching
and your coordination is good one. Thank you.
* Its very good workshop for students. From one to two three year I was trying to learn Python and finally I learned from
this workshop. There are many few institutes in India who take classes for Python
