Feed back of python workshop conducted at MNIT, Jaipur from 2nd Apr to 3rd Apr 2010.
Around 36 students and 8 faculty members attended the workshop for both the days.
- Range of topics covered:
- 43.9% of the people felt that the range of topics covered were very relevant.
- 53.65% of the people felt that the range of topics covered were relevant.
- 2.43 of the people felt that the range of topics covered were somewhat relevant.
- Depth of coverage
- 9.75% of the people felt that the depth of coverage was too detailed.
- 82.9 of the people felt that the depth of coverage was detailed enough.
- 7.31 of the people felt that the depth of coverage was not detailed enough.
- Effectiveness of methodology
- 51.2% of the people felt that the teaching methodology was extremely effective.
- 48.7% the people felt that the teaching methodology was effective.
- Pace of coverage
- 19.51% of the people felt that the pace of coverage was too fast.
- 80.48% of the people felt that the the pace of coverage was fast.
- Applicability
- 58.5% of the people felt that they can apply what they have learnt immediately.
- 39.0% of the people felt that they can apply what they have learnt somewhat immediately.
- 2.43% of the people felt that they cannot apply what they have learnt immediately.
- Choice of Problems:
- 43.9% of the people felt that the problems were very interesting.
- 56.0% of the people felt that the the problems were interesting.
- Choice of Exercises:
- 14.63% of the people felt that the exercises were very instructive.
- 24.63% of the people felt that the exercises were instructive.
- 60.87% of the people felt that the exercises were somewhat instructive.
General Comments:
- I wonder if this could be regularised(lesser duration of course)

- Good enough but was for very short duration. It must be of one week at least.

- If you will also tell about game programing through Python then it will be more interesting. It was really interesting something somehow natural.
- This is very nice to develop to practical capability in a student. Such program should be organised more frequently and participant must be given certificate of participation.
- Can give some sample(interesting) programs to the students with good number of comments so that we understand what does what.
- Workshop in which we got lot of knowledge about Python in a very short amount of time. The instructors were good and very importantly the material and the way of its presentation was very very very good.
