The following are the statistics obtained from the audience after the IIIT Hyderabad workshop conducted from 09 February to 10 February 10:
- Range of topics covered:
- 16.1% of the people felt that the range of topics covered were very relevant.
- 69.4% of the people felt that the range of topics covered were relevant.
- 14.5% of the people felt that the range of topics covered were somewhat relevant.
- Depth of coverage
- 16.1% of the people felt that the depth of coverage was too detailed.
- 70.9% of the people felt that the depth of coverage was detailed.
- 12.9% of the people felt that the depth of coverage was not detailed enough.
- Effectiveness of methodology
- 17.74% of the people felt that the teaching methodology was extremely effective.
- 74.19% of the people felt that the teaching methodology was effective.
- 8.06% of the people felt that the teaching methodology was not very effective.
- Pace of coverage
- 14.5% of the people felt that the the pace of coverage was too fast.
- 35.4% of the people felt that the the pace of coverage was fast.
- 50% of the people felt that the pace of coverage was just right.
- Applicability
- 22.67% of the people felt that they can apply what they have learnt immediately.
- 45.33% of the people felt that they can apply what they have learnt somewhat immediately.
- 32% of the people felt that they cannot apply what they have learnt immediately.
- Choice of Problems:
- 20.97% of the people felt that the problems were very interesting.
- 61.30% of the people felt that the the problems were interesting.
- 14.51% of the people felt that the problems were somewhat interesting.
- 3.22% of the people felt that the problems were not interesting.
- Choice of Exercises:
- 16.2% of the people felt that the exercises were very instructive.
- 75.5% of the people felt that the exercises were instructive.
- 8.2% of the people felt that the exercises were somewhat instructive.
General Comments
1. Sessions were quite interactive and Interesting. Enjoyed learning . Thank you.
2. Relevant examples from biological data should have been included.
3. I am really glad that I am part of this workshop. I got to revise on things and concepts I learnt during my schooling and college days, but also from a application point of view.

20. 75% of the material or content of the workshop are going to be very useful. Instructors made it very instructive as a result it was a continuous learning of more than 7 hrs.
21. Make the session a little long enough so that there is no rush to finish the topic and the pace of coverage to be reduced.
